Mer Bear story.....
I
have been hand sewing my bears since 1999. I've always loved to do
needle work such as
crochet, knit and general sewing but once I made my first bear - I never
looked back. I
mainly work with Schulte mohair imported from Germany, although I
also enjoy making mini bears from Sassy fabrics. My patterns
are all original and I usually change each one somewhat since I don't like to repeat my work due to a low boredom threshold.
My home is smoke free although not pet free. I have two Boston Terriors,
cats and a cockatiel.
We
live on a small farm and keep a few cows, chickens, rabbits and pigs.
I work full-time as a legal assistant and enjoy sewing in
the evenings.
